Geography podcasts

It is important to remember the exam wont all be on the pre-release booklet. Some of the exam will be about what we've learnt about Extreme Environments, People as Consumers and My Place.

I have added a link to the Notre Dame website where I have stored some podcasts for Extreme Environments and People as Consumers. These should help in your revision.

The address is www.notredameliverpool.com/x_geo_pods.htm

There are instructions on how to set up podcasts on www.notredameliverpool.com

Out of Town Shopping Opinions

Today we looked at 2 aspects of out of town shopping:

1. The implications, (positive and negative effects) on the CBD (city centre) and the out of town area.
2. People's opinions (likes / dislikes) of out of town shopping and shopping in the CBD (city centre).

I have attached the powerpoint for the second half of the lesson.

Of all the powerpoints there are some activities that we didn't have time to cover in class and also some activities that we have covered in class you may want to have a go at again.
